Tried my hand at making the insta-gin again but this time added angelica root. I followed the same procedure as before so go check it out.  The recipe is as follows.

Changing the diluted everclear for a nice vodka took a lot of the sharp edges, and the burn, away from this version.  It might be a good idea next time to get a decent vodka and use that.

Angelica really comes out in the finish.  A bit too much for my taste.  It’s surprising how so little of one ingredient can change the recipe so much.  Next time I’ll cut angelica by half.
